Ruler Men’s Grooming – Frequently Asked Questions

 

1. Will this work on my beard?

Yes — Ruler tools are designed for all beard types and styles (short stubble, boxed, full beards). The only exception is goatees and moustaches, which need different shaping.


2. What makes Ruler different from cheap beard tools online?

Unlike flimsy plastic or metal combs, Ruler tools are:

3. How often should I use it?

Most customers use the comb + pencil once a week for shaping, and the razor more often for quick touch-ups. It’s designed to keep your beard looking sharp between barber visits.


4. Do I still need to go to the barber?

That’s up to you. Many customers say Ruler helps them skip every second or third visit, saving time and money, while still heading to the barber for trims and fades.


5. Is it beginner-friendly?

Yes — Ruler tools are designed for easy, at-home use. Just line up with the comb, mark with the pencil, and shave along the guide. You don’t need barber skills to get clean results.


6. How long will it last?

  • Bamboo combs: Durable and water-resistant. Store in a dry place for longer life.
  • Razors & blades: Handles are reusable, blades are stainless steel and replaceable (refills available).
  • Barber pencils: Each lasts multiple uses and are easy to restock.


7. Where are you based?

We’re a proudly Australian-owned business, shipping locally from the Gold Coast, QLD.


8. How much is shipping?

  • Free standard shipping on orders over $40.
  • Flat rate $5 for orders under $40.
  • Express shipping available for $10.


9. How long does delivery take?

  • Express: 1–4 business days.
  • Standard: 2–8 business days.
    All orders ship the next business day.


10. What if I’m not happy with my order?

We want you to love your grooming tools. If there’s a problem, email us at support@rulermensgrooming.com within 30 days and we’ll make it right.
👉 For hygiene reasons, we can’t accept returns of used products, but we’ll happily replace faulty or incorrect items.


11. Is checkout safe?

Yes. We use secure checkout and trusted payment providers (Shopify, PayPal, major cards). Your details are protected.
